Summary

Under general supervision, performs a wide variety of duties and activities of a general and specialized nature in support of the assigned program. Performs a range of both office and administrative support functions and is the first contact with clients through face to face greeting or telephone interaction.

Princeton, WV

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answers telephone, routes calls to appropriate party, takes and delivers messages for staff members, manages front desk, handles client requests in a professional manner.
  • Learns aspects of program in order to answer questions for clients.
  • Processes and assigns incoming referrals.
  • Performs data entry and maintains online child record.
  • Processes incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Uses online shared calendar system to track meetings and appointments.
  • Prepares correspondence, reports, and other documents in a timely manner.
  • Operate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail system and personal computer.
  • Assists with ordering and purchasing supplies, maintains office inventory, and keeps office supply closet stocked.\
  • Assists with organizing office events.
  • Schedule meetings and conference rooms.
  • Maintains confidentiality at all times.
  • Meets deadlines according to grant requirements.
  • Processes and sends out records requests.
  • Acts as a back up to other office staff.
  • Participates in quality training.
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:

Certificate/associate degree in office management or business Preferred. Previous office experience also preferred. Computer proficiency.

Must have valid driver’s license, clear criminal background and APS/CPS check with no charges related to child abuse and neglect, domestic violence, or drug charges.

Rate of Pay: 

$16.50 per hour
