 Job Title:  Transportation/Nutrition Aide

Department:  Early Head Start

Job Site: Maben Early Learning Center, Maben, WV

Summary

This position is responsible for driving and minor maintenance to the buses. This position cooks, cleans and provides assistance in the classroom as needed.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements described are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Some computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Word, and Excel, excellent communication skills, and familiar with office equipment. Must have good recall memory, organizational and listening skills.

Education and/or Experience

Must have high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license, dependable transportation with minimum automobile insurance, Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger, air brakes, school bus endorsement, bus sweep training and safe driving record; clear criminal background, maltreatment APS/CPS check and bondable.

Must have DOT, pass a DOT drug screen, physical exam every two years with an initial Tine test, obtain a Food handler’s Permit, and willing to be trained in Standard First Aid and Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation per Performance Standards and OSHA training. Other applicable Federal and State regulation.

Rate of Pay

$11.40 – $12.90 Hourly
