Service Coordinator – WV Birth to Three, RAU 7

DESCRIPTION

Full time Service Coordinator for WV Birth to Three, a program of MountainHeart Community Services.

LOCATION

Princeton, WV

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

MUST have a bachelor’s degree in a Human Service Field (Social Work, Psychology, Early Childhood Development, Early Childhood Education or related field)
Training will be provided for enrollment into WV Birth to Three system.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST BE ABLE TO

  • Demonstrate effective communication skills both written and oral. 
  • Effective listening skills are a must
  • Demonstrate a high level of organizational skills
  • Demonstrate ability to problem solve and make decisions
  • Demonstrate proficient computer skills (excel, word, power point, email, research)
  • Adapt positively to change
  • Meet federal and state mandated timelines
  • Manage a caseload
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams (families, practitioners, state officials, etc.)
  • Demonstrate a passion for helping families with children who have developmental delays
  • Be a team player
  • Work independently
  • Travel a five-county area
  • Be able to work occasional evenings/weekends
  • Be able to pass DHHR Fingerprint/Background Investigation.
